I haven't noticed any video problems (except for when I was changing out the memory: I got a couple of strange all-blue screens, but that could just be a result of poorly seated memory). The symptoms don't exactly match what is listed there. It was only nine months out of warranty, and costed me around 2400 at the time of purchase (high end 15 model).
